About Us
ArtStudio0nline: Artists Collective – (previously known as ArtStudio01). We are an inclusive disability lead, unincorporated artists collaborative based in Shropshire; Shrewsbury, Telford and Ludlow. In 2014 we set up as an artists collective and were based in Participate Art Studios in Shrewsbury. In 2020 our physical studio was due for demolition and then the global pandemic hit. We have now migrated to a virtual space. Our aim is grow our collaborative collective and studio practices, and to showcase our work in the wider world through virtual spaces!

During 2020 we were supported by Unlimited and Paul Hamlyn Foundation to fund IPad technology to support our transition from a physical studio as ArtStudio01 to our new online space as ArtStudio0nLine.

What we are doing right now!

We are presently funded by Arts Council England and National Lottery through Project Grants to develop our home studio practice in an online virtual space. We work to a self defined thematic approach, showcasing our work in virtual and hybrid environments.

We also support collaborative inclusive practice in partnership with Figment Arts Studios in Brighton. As this partnership grows we aim to work towards a shared common goal. That is to establish new and exciting artists collaborations, create an associate artist network supporting professional development and show case our work in the wider arts environments.

Collaborative projects with Figment Arts Studio artists include a postal sketchbook project – resulting in an online and physical exhibition.

Postcard Art Express – an international exchange online exhibition. Launches 7 April 2020

Sketchbook Collaborations – a 1-2-1 creative exchange between Artists Tanya Raabe-Webber and Sarah Watson. An ongoing visual conversation.

In February we were commissioned by Disability Arts Online to create an online exhibition of our most recent work celebrating Connectivity.
